Fuel Strainer

Post by Dmfinley »

I was looking at the Navion Manual and in the fuel section it says to remove and clean the relief valve screen every 25 hours. Located right in front of the electric fuel pump. Anyone ever do that? Do have have to drain the Fuel or will shutoff valve stop the fuel to this screen?
I don’t even know what it looks like.
This is not talking about the gascolator.
Appreciate any replies.

I’m not aware of that screen. Which model/engine? I’m only aware of the gascolator and fuel injection screen on the io470 fuel servo.

It's in the Adel boost pump run around circuit.
