This is my current ride, 2556T, one of the last few H models off the line in Seguin, TX, in Jan 1976. All original other than a Garmin GNS480 and factory reman IO520. One of only two with a “factory” installed King KFC200 autopilot. I’m partnered with Ike Wiley to fix and resell (flip) this plane in route to my next canopy Navion.

N4943K out of Lafayette, IN. I purchased the airplane last year in a partially assembled state and have been piecing it together and flying it since. It was involved in an accident about 10 years ago and never quite got back into the air until I took over the project, though a lot of great work had been done before I took custody of the project. The airplane has an IO-550B and is currently getting a Garmin avionics update.

I'm the curator of 1948 Ryan L-17B USAF 48-1007. This aircraft was one of the 163 L-17B aircraft manufactured by Ryan for the USAF, the US Army and the Hellenic (Greek) Air Force. It served with the USAF, the US Army (likely in Germany) and then the Civil Air Patrol in CA and WA before being purchased privately. I am the 2nd owner of the aircraft. It's been undergoing a "flying restoration" since purchased with associated periods of downtime and flying.

As found in Auburn, WA in 2000 - no prop, flat tires, covered with moss.

After the initial rebuild; it now has the spinner removed.

Currently working through engine issues that will likely require a rebuild/replacement, which may lead to replacing the E-225 and associated modifications with an E-185 and a stock basket/nose bowl.

I have the privilege of being the caretaker N5151K. "Jetson" as we have named it is a lovely 1950 Ryan Navion Super 260. Jetson still sports the Lycoming GO-435 engine and runs solid. Future plans to go with a lighter option producing more horses and a refurb of the interior, but I'm not in a hurry as Jetson is a solid performer as it stands now.

Greetings!

I purchased N5392K -- a '51 B-model with IO-470H (260hp) -- in April '16 after a long search for the "right plane, with the right engine, at the right price." Flew her from Las Vegas (sans brakes & elevator trim) to my dad's hangar in Phoenix and spent the next 5 months making repairs & mods. Finally flew her home to Carlisle, PA (N94) in September of '16. Since then, I have also stripped & repainted her -- dubbing her "Jealous Jenny" after my wife, Jennifer -- as well as installing an updated instrument panel & avionics. Despite being "down" for repairs & mods for 9 months of the last 3.5 years, I've still managed to put about 250 hrs on her, and LOVE the way she flies -- especially in formation!

If you're ever in South Central PA, look me up...

Cheers,

Jon Still, N5392K

I've owned "Old Dog" since 1990. She got her IO-470 overhauled and added an Aspen at Gann Aviation.
