Parts And Services

Post by billla »

As Navion owners we often need to "beat the bushes" looking for service, maintenance and repair parts. This sticky contains sources and contacts for parts and services, updated over time. Please reply with additions or changes!

One of the best references overall for parts, manuals, documents, etc. remains Rip Quinby's Navion Files - http://www.navioneer.org/riprelay/The%2 ... navion.htm. Although it's no longer being actively updated, it's a great place to start your search for information on the parts you need.

Type Certificate Holder
Sometimes you just need to go to the source; Sierra Hotel Aero in South St. Paul, MN (http://www.navion.com/) is the current Type Certificate holder.

Hydraulic Service Parts
The Navion hydraulic system is fairly straightforward but requires knowledge and service to stay healthy.

Parts and Services
As a "classic" aircraft, finding parts can be difficult. In our community, much of our support comes from aircraft that have "passed on" and now donate their parts to "Keep 'Em Flying!" as well as organizations making hard-to-find parts available.

The American Navion Society provides "airframe support" and an incredible wealth of knowledge: http://www.navionsociety.org/old/

Classic Aero Service in Aurora, NE is great source for many parts: Contact Jeff, Teresa or Bryce Bontz at (402) 694-0171 https://classicaeroservice.weebly.com/.

Tom De Luca was a true artist as an engineer, machinist and mechanic as well as having a treasure trove of parts. De Luca Of California, (951) 849-7594
