Cable Felts

My cable seals under the backseat where the cables enter the fuselage look to be made of felt. They are also very old stiff and dirty. What do you all do to replace these?

I believe Sierra Hotel has them. I made my own.

I think the term is "heavy duty compressed felt" and as such there are a lot of (ahem) non-aviation sources that could be evaluated by the owner and A&P...
