Vx and Vy
So my G model shows Vx as 98mph and Vy as 105mph. I think the canopy model has much lower speeds. Is this different due to the wing angle of incidence change or power or ?
Re: Vx and Vy
Most numbers I've seen published for the stock canopy model put Vx at or near 70mph and Vy at 95mph. I would be willing to bet that the difference in V speeds has more to do with the change in gross weight (3150 vs 2750) and resulting wing loading than anything else. I wouldn't think the wing angle would change it. Need @Nolimits to chime in on this one.
That said, I have a 225 canopy model that has the wing angle change that I personally haven't flown yet. Once I get the thing home, I'll do some experimenting and report if it seems to be affected.
